How To Align Yourself Towards True Healing With Endometriosis

When I was first diagnosed with endometriosis in 2012, I was so sick and so lost.

I frequently missed school and work. I was in and out of the ER. I had so much anger and resentment towards my body and even towards others around me who weren’t in the pain that I was. I felt like having endometriosis was my fault. I made unhealthy choices and treated my body badly. I felt like my body was already broken and there was no point in taking care of it. I felt like life was happening TO me and I didn’t have control over anything. I was using unhealthy coping mechanisms and having unhealthy relationships.

In 2016 I hit my lowest. I realized that I was becoming a person I didn’t like. I had to ask myself what I really wanted, who I wanted to be, and how I really wanted to feel. I wanted to heal, and I realized that to do that, I had to create awareness around my emotions and actions, and realign them towards true healing.

So I started to do the work. I started showing up for myself everyday and aligning myself to the woman that I wanted to be.

It wasn’t easy- but it was the KEY to my healing process. Without this massive shift in mindset and alignment, I wouldn’t be where I am today!

The truth is that healing is NOT just about the physical things! Even if you eat healthy, exercise, take supplements and/or medication, and have surgery- if you aren’t working on your inner self, you won’t be able to move forward in your healing journey.

Things like mindset, self-awareness and love, leveraging your human design, emotional maturity, and spirituality are so integral to living well with endometriosis. Those are the things that really changed my life and my pain- and this is what I teach my clients! When you understand these things better, and implement them into your life in healthy ways, you can mold your life into WHATEVER YOU WANT IT TO BE!
